Modification of the Fixman’s Analytic Function in Binary Liquid Mixtures

| dc.description.abstract | The mode-coupling theory of Fixman failed to explain the experimental behavior of the binary liquid mixtures at critical concentration and above critical temperature. The analytic function of Fixman’s theory was modified in order to get an agreement with the experimental behavior of the binary liquid mixtures at critical concentration and above the critical temperature. Ultrasonic absorption and velocity of some binary liquid mixtures were used to test the validity of the Modified-Fixman’s theory. It is found that the ratio of heat capacities γ_0=C_p/C_V (at constant pressure and volume) of the binary liquid mixtures is the term which plays the role to modify the Fixman’s theory to get a good agreement with the experimental behavior. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | تم دراسة نظرية فيكسمان التي تختص بالسوائل ثنائية المخاليط ودراستها بعد النقطة الحرجة, التي لم تعمل على وصف السلوك الحرج بالشكل الدقيق خاصة عند الترددات العالية. تم تعديل الاقتران التحليلي لنظرية قيكسمان باضافة حدود جديدة تعتمد على طول الارتباط (correlation length), وهذا التعديل أسهم في تغيير شكل الاقتران الاتزاني, مع بقاء الاقتران الاتزاني غير موافق للنتائج التجريبة. لذلك تم تعديل الاقتران الاتزاني لنظرية فيكسمان باضافة حد جديد يعتمد على النسبة بين السعة الحرارية بثبوت الضغط و السعة الحرارية بثبوت الحجم وهو+2.30) (γ_0/〖(γ〗_(0-1)) . لقد تم اخذ نتائج تجريبية من مراجع على معامل امتصاص الصوت وسرعته في المركبات الثنائية نيتروبنزين+ ن هيكسان و 3ميثلبنتان+ نيتروايثان وتم مقارنة النتائج التجريبية مع النظرية التي تم تعديلها لنظرية فيكسمان, ووجد أن هناك توافق جيد بين النتائج التجريبية والنتائج النظرية, بسبب وجود الحد الذي يعتمد على γ_0 المضاف الى الاقتران الاتزاني والذي يلعب دور رئيسي في مطابقة النتائج التجريبية مع النتائج النظرية. | ar |
