dc.description.abstract | After more than 25 years of Israeli Occupation the Palestinian National Authority gradually gained control over major cities in the Palestinian territories. The urban transportation sector was one of the fields that was given priority in the developmental efforts to remedy the deteriorating infrastructure after years of negligence. In current world we are leading a busy life, problems like traffic jam can be really annoying. It would be helpful to know whether there is any traffic jam in a particular location before a head. We find many ways to accomplish traffic congestion such as Detection System Using O-Line Images, Satellites, Inductive Loop Detector on Target Origin-Destination Matrix, Temporal Visualization of Road Segment Congestion Level Data and Image Processing. Ultimately, we choose Video Processing using both MATLAB and Python in order to count cars, traffic light will open or not depending on the number of counted cars. | en_US |
