dc.description.abstract
A five stage gradual hydroponic pot experiment was tested in greenhouse at An-Najah University new campus fordecentralized wastewater treatment. The experiment included five vegetation plants: two types of corn, barely, alfalfa, and sunflower. Results indicated over ninety percent removal of soluble organics and suspended solids, andabout sixty percent of nitrogen. The gradual hydroponic treatment system proved to be a successful alternativemethod to conserve and reuse wastewater and produce crops in Palestine with high efficiency.
en
