EVIL AND HOW TO ESCAPE IT IN THE HOLY QURA'N (AN ANALATICAL AND DESCRIPTIVE STUDY)

Abstract
This study considers the topic of evil and how to survive it according to the Holy Qur'an. It is a significantly important topic for it warns Muslims not to choose the way of sins and loss (evil) and rather go through the right path (the way of good). Recognizing evil and its' sources and methods helps Muslims to be guided to the ways of protection through which they survive and be safe from every badness.
In his research, the researcher follows several research approaches such as the descriptive, deductive and inductive approaches. The researcher divided his research into an introduction, six chapters, a conclusion and indexes according to the requirements and origins of scientific research.
The study indicates the linguistic and terminological meaning of evil, in addition to some notes and signs through observing the sequence of mentioning the word evil in the Holy Qur'an together with other related words.
The study showed the sources of evil and its' types, then it considered the way through which Muslims can survive evil by indicating the saver and rescuer methods Such as the knowledge of evil and its truth, and believing in Allah Almighty.
The study touches upon the impact of evil on the individual and society, by mentioning two models of evil, and showing the destiny of evil people in life and in the afterlife.
The conclusion included the most important findings and recommendations reached through this research, the most important of which is that unawareness of evil makes people vulnerable to get in trouble. However, being aware of evil help Muslims to survive it. Disbelief in God and polytheism are among the greatest evils one may fall into, while believing in God and seeking protection from Him is one of the most important paths to Muslims' survival.
