The Reality of Application of the Genius Mental Arithmetic (GMA) Program for Mental Math

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the reality of the application of the mental intelligence genius program and its relationship to the development of problem-solving among its affiliated students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the qualitative approach with its qualitative tools by conducting interviews with the members of the study sample, which was represented by the director of the Mental Intelligence Genius Program, three of the program’s trainers, 11 of the affiliated students, and 12 of the parents of the students affiliated with the program. The interviews were analyzed according to the content analysis mechanism. The results of the study showed the positive impact of the Mental Intelligence Genius Program on the affiliated students, whether at their educational level or at the level of their daily lives. It helped them to positively change their attitudes towards mathematics, increase their motivation to learn mathematics, increase their self-confidence, develop their ability to focus, think and organize their time correctly, and helped them in the quick memorization of the Holy Qur’an. The results also showed the ability of the program to develop students' abilities in solving mathematical problems. Based on this research, the researcher recommended several things, including the necessity of including mathematics curricula branches and methods from this program if possible because it helps students to change their attitude towards mathematics in addition to its positive impact on their learning and their ability to think correctly.
