- ItemTHE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATIONAL SUPERVISION AND ELECTRONIC LEADERSHIP IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN THE NORTHERN WEST BANK GOVERNORATES AND THEIR DISABILITIES FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE SUPERVISORS(An-Najah National University, 2022-03-20) Quzuq, MunaThe purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between educational supervision and electronic leadership in public schools in the northern West Bank governorates and their obstacles from the point of view of educational supervisors. In addition to determine the differences in the educational supervision and electronic leadership in public schools in the northern West Bank governorates and their obstacles as perceived by the educational supervisors according to the variables of (gender, qualification, specialization, experience years and governorate). To achieve this, the study was conducted on available sample consisting of (112) male and female educational supervisors from the public schools in the northern West Bank governorates. The researcher used the descriptive approach for its compatibility with the study goals, and the questionnaire as an instrument to gather data. Data was analyzed by using SPSS, and the level of significance was (0.05). The main results of the study were as the following: - There were statistically significant relationship at (α≤0.01) between the educational supervision and electronic leadership and its obstacles in public schools in the northern West Bank governorates as perceived by the educational supervisors, as the values of pearson correlation were (0.52, 0.35) respectively. - The degree of educational supervision in public schools of the northern West Bank governorates as perceived by the educational supervisors was very high, as the mean of response for the total score was (4.30), and the degree of electronic leadership was high, the mean of response for the total score was (3.53). - There were no significant differences were found at (α ≤ 0.05) in the degree of educational supervision in public schools of the northern West Bank governorates as perceived by the educational supervisors according to the variables of (gender, qualification, specialization), where as significant differences were found according to the variables of experience years and governorate. - There were no significant differences were found at (α ≤ 0.05) in the degree of electronic leadership and its obstacles in public schools of the northern West Bank governorates as perceived by the educational supervisors according to the variables of (gender, qualification, specialization, experience years, and governorate). - The main obstacle facing the application of electronic leadership in public schools of the northern West Bank governorates as perceived by the educational supervisors was related to (weakness of English language skills among some employees). In light of the study results, the researcher concluded a set of recommendation such as providing financial support for the technological aspect in schools, and improving the English language skills for some employees who use technology in governmental schools.
