dc.description.abstractThe effect of magnetic field on the donor impurity states confined in GaAs with Gaussian confinement has been studied. The Hamiltonian, including the spin term,has been solved by using 1/N expansion method.The energy and binding energy of donor ground state of electron has been displayed as a function of magnetic field ,Gaussian confinement potential height (V0) and the radius of quantum dot (R) .It is have calculated the magnetic quantities of donor impurity in Quantum dot (QD) such as the magnetization(M) and the magnetic susceptibility (χ).Also, it is have shown dependence of (M ) and (χ) on temperature ,magnetic field , confinement potential .In addition, it is have investigated the effect of impurity on the magnetic properties of QD. The comparisons show that our result are in very good agreement with published ones.en_US
