Abstract
This project dealt with achieving goals 8, 9 and 13 of the Sustainable Development Goals, which are, respectively, to take urgent action to address climate change and its effects, build resilient infrastructure, stimulate inclusive and sustainable industrialization and encourage innovation, promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and full employment. and productive, and provide decent work for all. All cities were studied through the criteria and indicators of city sustainability related to the three goals, and based on the results, a city in the West Bank was selected as a case study, which is the city of Nablus. The research adopted the methodology of analysis and study of criteria and indicators of the sustainability of cities in terms of the selected goals, which include analyzing the city among all sectors and standards and studying all aspects in it, through which the strengths and weaknesses of the city of Nablus were clarified and how to deal with them and propose solutions to achieve the goals of the three goals 8. 9,13 The project referred to the exploitation of the existing potentials in the city of Nablus to make the city more healthy and sustainable and to put a step towards the future through the effective use of resources. It aims to know how to implement the sustainable development goals and make the city sustainable in all environmental, economic and social fields. The main outputs were multiple, achieving each goal separately, the first of which was to know the effect of green suggestions on the vegetation cover index and the average temperature using remote sensing, in addition to the design of a roof garden, a commercial area, a tourist area, and the most vital commercial street in the city (Rafidia). One of the proposed public complexes for transportation, and finally, a detailed master plan was made for the eastern industrial zone in the city of Nablus
