Abstract
“The integrated design of buildings is important for comfort for users of service buildings.
This project is a proposed project by architecture students. in this project the project team will
study a general administrative building for Nablus municipality building located in the city
center the building area about 10,000 𝑚2
divided on basement and 4 floors, And the land area is
about 2990 𝑚2
.
The reason for choosing this project Because of its importance in establishing important
meetings for the city.
The team project will perform design assessment and analysis to the current building design in
order to evaluate whether it meets the international standards and codes or not.
The analysis includes various design aspects include architectural, structural, electromechanical
and environmental, by using software simulation for architecture such as REVIT and Design
Builder program and using software simulation for construction such as ETAB program.
The building was rehabilitated according to the required and implemented specifications and
standards and in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the municipality, where
the spaces and architectural functions were redistributed in order to obtain the highest quality use
of the structures from the capacity to accommodate the numbers of employees and auditors in the
different departments.
