Abstract
This project aims to evaluate the quality of e-learning system at An-Najah National University in the light of international standards for quality of e-learning from the learners' viewpoint . Through a review of previous studies, research related to this topic and the main international standard for e-learning, an electronic questionnaire was designed that consist of two major axes contain a set of questions based on the five likert scale to measure the satisfaction of learners with the e-learning service in addition to knowing the extent of conforming the quality of the electronic system to international quality standards. The descriptive analytical approach was used because it is appropriate for the nature of this study such that, the study population consisted of (23,000) undergraduate and postgraduate students from the all colleges of the university, where a representative sample of (438) student was chosen in a random manner. The validity of the study tool was confirmed by presenting it to a number of teachers, and its stability was assured through (cronbach-alpha) coefficient, and then the statistical analysis program (SPSS) was used to study and analyze the results. The study reached several results, the most important of which are that standards for content quality, design of electronic courses, standards for the quality of administrative services and support for students at An-Najah National University are present at a medium level, and students' satisfaction with their experience of the e-learning system was weak, in addition to that there are no statistically significant differences in Students' answers due to gender, school year, or college. Based on the previous results, the study recommends several things for An-Najah National University, the most important of which is to harness efforts to develop the quality of e-learning in order to fill the gap between it and international e-learning standards. and find a methods to continuously evaluate its quality standards at the university in order for the university to have an effective and competitive e-learning system.
