Abstract
It has been observed that the manufacture of parts and products regardless of their shape that the manufacturing processes required to manufacture lead to the production of industrial waste. Lean manufacturing or lean thinking is one of the most widely used industrial methods worldwide. Lean is considered the one of management philosophy which can help many industrial wastes due to it contain a lot of tools which help to element this waste Lean Manufacturing (LM) is a business template that contains philosophies designed to dispose of waste in the manufacturing process. Lean philosophies target activities that absorb resources but do not create value for the product and aim to eliminate them. Referring to manufacturing or maintenance processes, lean is to do more with less: less effort, less space, fewer defects, less production time, less volume requirements, capital for a certain level of production, etc. The need to provide customers with high quality products with the least waste is essential for any company wishing to continue, especially in today's growing global market. This is what lean thinking think. No, widely used to improve production efficiency in many factories and industries by reducing waste ('moda' in Japanese) which is the main problem in reducing of production. The original seven wastes (Muda) were developed by Taiichi Ohno, the Chief Engineer at Toyota, as part of the Toyota Production System (TPS). They are often referred to by the acronym ‘TIMWOODS’. In this project Lean manufacturing directed to the company AL Dajani, which is one of the furniture companies in Palestine, the furniture sectors was chosen to apply Lean manufacturing because there was a lot of waste in this field of manufacturing. According to our initial visit to al- Dajani Company is expected to find a lot of sources of waste in this company, as a result and there the need to implement lean manufacturing tool.
