Abstract
Food ordering is very important service for each restaurant. This is a service that offered by a waiter to a customer who came to the restaurant. But in most restaurants it may cause some problem, waiters may forget some customer orders and tables during peak hours, resulting in a customer shortage. Since this is the current method, there is no way to improve the interaction between waiters and customers in this restaurant. Therefore, the aim of designing this system is to develop the interaction between customers and waiters, which leads to an increase in the effectiveness of the restaurant's performance. FOOD ORDER system includes a QR code reader with internal statistical unit, thus the system allows customers' orders to be viewed instantly to the main server (chef server). This makes the waiters focus on delivering orders only and not paying attention to new customer schedules. The internal statistics unit contains a database that includes the requested and incoming requests from clients, this system explains to the management what the customer needs from the requests via a smart screen in front of him. At the same time, management monitors the performance and speed of waiters in fulfilling orders through the system. This results in speed and activity in the performance of the restaurant, an increase in its reputation, and an increase in the morale of all workers in the restaurant, and an improvement in the customer's impression of this restaurant.
