Abstract
Nowadays, the increase in the population has led to an increase in the waste throughout the cities, and the problem is an increase in the flow of waste around the waste bins due to the increase in waste, which leads to pollution and causes some diseases. To avoid these problems, we move to an intelligent waste management system using the Internet of Things. Where the Internet of things massively transforms cities, and efforts are made to manage the city's waste to obtain a smarter way to get rid of it. During this project, IoT was designed to monitor waste during periods, and thus the collection was suggested; Ready to improve the collection and improvement of solid waste in different cities, in our system smart trash cans, are connected with the Internet and then to the server where data is obtained in real-time, and then monitor its status via the produced online web page, and then make the appropriate decision for it. This system used the microcontroller as an interface between the sensor system (LED control system) and the Node MCU (data control system). To monitor a site that has been developed to obtain the required information related to the level of waste in different locations. Sensors have been installed on some trash cans as an experimental theory and then send the level of dirt in each basket to the main server and save the information and then show this information on the linked web page with Google Map that shows the location of each basket and the level of waste inside and the last addition process to the trash, Finally, the shortest route between the driver and the basket and some proposed roads appears on the map in the event of overcrowding or a problem with the main road.
