Abstract
The project represents an integrated design for the Faculty of Economics in khadori to the west of Tulkarm.
The necessity for this faculty at Palestine Technical University is the large number of students who
instigated us to select the Faculty of Economics as our graduation project.
The integrated design, will include architectural, structural, environmental, electrical, mechanical design
along with public safety. This will distinguish the design from other most designs.
Four aspects will be studied in this project. The architectural modification aspect which takes into
consideration the functionality of the building, environmental design, people with special needs and public
safety requirement and site analysis. Defining the structure system, split the building into blocks, 3D
model analysis and seismic design will be achieved in the structural aspect. The mechanical design will
include HVAC system, sanitation systems, elevators, fire protection and water supply. In addition to that,
the lighting system, fire alarm and power will be designed through the electrical aspect.
Ultimately, full detailed drawings and a design report will be submitted as the deliverables of the project.
