Abstract
The re-design project is about making improvements on the proposed plans. In order to reach the most efficient performance for the building from all aspects, architectural, environmental, mechanical, structural and electrical. In addition, the main object of the project is achieved by improving the building from all aspects as mentioned above. Decreasing energy consumption rate, artificial lighting by enlarging the ratio of glass in facades, also by adding shading system, louvers, solar chimney and skylight, to improve performance of the building has been done. Choosing the most suitable structural system was a very big challenge, because the building has two masses with different orientation. Full design and improvements were made using programs, DesignBuilder program for environmental analysis, ETABS, SAFE, Sap2000 and SPW91 programs for structural design, INSUL and ecotect for acoustical analysis, Dialux.Evo for lighting simulation, Revit, AutoCAD and Lumion for architectural design.
