Abstract
Among all Palestinian cities, Nablus has a strategic location, an economical importance and highest population in its region. The city has a various interest about the educational and cultural services. Therefore, this graduation project is oriented into the design and evaluation of a cultural center in Nablus which is located near the old campus of An-Najah National University. The project presents an integrative design that involves structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and safety aspects. In the architectural design, focusing on studying the shape, the orientation and the form of the structure depending on the functionality and the environmental requirements were presented. In the structural design, the structure was analyzed and evaluated. In mechanical and environmental design, HVAC, water, and sanitary systems in the project were analyzed and evaluated. The electrical design included designing power and lightening systems in the project. In addition, evaluating the emergency exits, alarm system and fire protection system was included in the public safety design. List using programs such as Design Builder, DIAlux and Ecotect. Finally, the analysis and any changes in the structure was presented in this report. Also, at the end, this project provided a safe, unique and integral design of a cultural center in Nablus city
