Abstract
Tulkarm Governorate is located on north-west of the West Bank in the middle of coastal plain. It rises from 55 to 125 m above mean sea level, and 16 km away from it .The Governorate is characterized by good fertility and availability of water from rain or from ground water .It is featured by coastal terrain nature west of the Governorate ,and mountinance nature to the east .
The project aims to assess and develop service providers indicators for Tulkarm Governorate through evaluating the different indicators of water supply services. Based on the evaluated indicators, a set of recommended actions will be proposed to improve the performance of different service providers.
To achieve the above objective, several tasks will be conducted . The first step will be to identify the service providers and sources. Secondly, a data collection process will be done using a well prepared questionnaire, then this data will be analyzed and the main indicators will be measured. Finally, priority actions to correct any existing defect in the system will be determined.
In this project that cover all Tulkarm Governorate service providers the final outcome is a table of the different indicators measured. Some problems were dedected in the performance of the two municipalities.
Based on the above, the main outcome from this project is a priority investment actions and projects based on the data and estimated indicators of the project.
