Abstract
In the Search of finding the importance of Decision Support System and taking important decisions in the establishment, we notice in the revolution of information technology and its` improvements, most companies now must follow this improvements in order to have powerful competing with other companies. So the success of decision support system is connected with helping from high management and giving all facilities of materials, financial, technician and man power. All for the sake of supporting decision making in the best way possible. The success of companies comes from its good management of approving suitable decisions by choosing the availability of alternative ones. Nowadays we notice that companies have a lot of information, and as a result of this they can select suitable information in suitable time. As a result, there will be active decisions and the company can stand strongly in front of other competitors.
The best results which we can reach is to ensure the relation between decision support system and taking the strategic decisions by showing the role of DSS in the best way.
Also we can find following result of this study:
1-there is a relation between DSS (support senior management and availability of materials, financial, manpower) to apply DSS in the company.
And this study reached to many recommendations that could benefit future researchers.
