Abstract
The aim of this project is to design installation of heating, ventilation and air condition system (HVAC) and all mechanical system for the Almaqased Hospital which well be built in Jerusalem City / Palestine. The hospital consists of Basement floors that contain Emergency room , X-ray , labs , Nursery Unit, restaurant , kitchen , laundry , Blood Bank &Mortuary ,ground floor that contain Patient Room , Library ,mosque , offices & Equipment Storage , First Floor that contain Theater , ICU , Patient Room & pharmacy  and Second Floor that contain Histology , Microbiology , Patient Room  & Endoscopy.HVAC system provides comfortable and clean healthy environment free of germs and diseases that harm the patient and the peoples inside the hospital. System of heating and cooling in this project used Air hander unit (AHU) and Fancoil unit (FCU) and it is used boiler that is sensible load is 815 KW for heating and chiller that is load is 435 Ton. All equipments of the system are selected from several companies. In addition to the HVAC system, fire alarm and plumbing is design, the availably of water service system inside the building the hot or cold water, this service can be achieved by the selecting the right size of piping and pump .Drainage system is design to  drain all pollution out of the hospital , fire alarm too is required to prevent the hospital and it is designed, finally the medical gas system consisting of a central supply system (manifold, bulk, or compressors), including control  equipment and piping extending to station outlets in the facility where medical gases may be required, the medical vacuum system consisting of central vacuum-producing equipment with vacuum switches and operating controls.
