Abstract
Manypeople and farmers find it difficult to keep tracking their plants if they are in need of irrigation, especially if they are out of their homes or farms for a long period or even for a one day.  The result of their long absence will be simply the death of their beloved plants or at least they will start to have the symptoms of dried plants. Others find this process an exhausting, and boring process. For this purpose; we present our automatic plant irrigation system so that manual intervention to turn the pump on/off whenever needed is not required anymore. We used PIC microcontroller to control our system, 2 Stepper Motors to achieve the 2-D movement, a pump for watering,ahand-made matrix of sensors.
