Abstract
Quality Control  is the part of quality management that ensures products and service comply with requirements. It is a work method that facilitates the measurement of the quality characteristics of a unit, compares them with the established standards, and analyses the differences between the results obtained and the desired results in order to make decisions which will correct any differences. Technical specifications define the type of controls that must be carried out to ensure the construction works are carried out correctly. They include not only products materials, but also the execution and completion of the works. The purpose of this project is to examine the stability of the concrete production process and find out any shortcoming in its quality level in construction projects in order to help them improving their quality performance. The goal is to improve the quality of raw materials, product and process, so that the enterprise can win in the market competition  The project was carried out in a national company in Nablus city. During a 9-month, the theoretical background about quality control of the company was studies, and the work experience on the construction site was required. The actual conditions being combined, and the quality standard of Construction Industry  being used, a systematic analysis and summary were made for the quality management of construction for the company.A special focus is made on the use of the Statistical Quality Control Tools to improve the quality of the additional raw materials (aggregate, Sand and Cement) which is mixed together  to have the concrete product. Also the inspection process for the raw materials and final product were controlled.  The concrete which is the final product has been taken as a case study, where the 28 days compressive strength of the plant has been monitored and analyzed using the Histogram, Cause and Effect Diagram, Control Charts, and Process Capability. Our project depends firstly on Control charts as an empirical tool for the tests on the raw material and for the concrete itself .Flow process chart were used to describe the manufacturing process for the raw material of concrete and so for the final product (concrete) at Mawasi factory. Some calculations were done on the means and standard deviation of the data ,the main aim of these calculation is to monitor the process if it is in control or out of control, and if it is not in control it must make some adjustment at the data to make it in control in order to start our calculation and start tracking the process to reach to the final result ,these calculation give the reader a convincing reason about the losses in the concrete production .The project concerned on concrete as it the essential element in construction industry, also due to the damage that may happen if the tests that must do on the raw materials and on the concrete itself not as identified in the Palestinian standard.
