In addition, the first floor has a medical laboratory and lecture halls and offices, the area of the floor is 1695 m2, and the second floor has a Nursing Laboratory and lecture halls and offices with an area of 1713 m2.This building was chosen because it has a special structural design due to its long spans (up to 9 m) with two-way solid slabs system.Structural models will be analyzed and designed by using computer software like SAP2000/Etab, and the results will be checked by hand calculations. In addition, AutoCAD will be used in drawing sections and details. The Structural elements will be designed as reinforced concrete members according to strength and serviceability criteria as specified in ACE 7-2010 and ACI 318, for seismic design UBC 97 and IBC 2012 will be used.
