Abstract
In order to stay in business and ahead of competitors, manufacturing organizations need to develop tools for measuring their employees’ performance. As a result of the current global financial crisis organizations, including service organizations, expect their employees to do more with less. Due to these forces, manufacturing organizations are required to design effective human resources performance measurement systems to identify effective employees’ contributions necessary for the stability of the organization in today ́s competitive environment. Therefore, this project aims at designing a human resources performance measurement system that can achieve goals of Human Resources as defined in the strategic plan of the organization. Using global key performance indicators as indicated in literature, systems design theories will be employed to design the intended system in the manufacturing sector. The project covers a group of important aspects to discuss which are: • Managing human resourcing. • Apprising and measuring performance. • Measure performance quality. Our goals are summarized in three main points: 1- Design and develop a performance measurement system that could help the organization to evaluate and appraise the employee’s performance. 2- Provide a constructive and meaningful feedback tool as part of the Human Resources performance measurement system.
